By downloading or using the Medborgarskapsprov Sverige app, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Independence Disclaimer
This app is an independent, private study tool for Sweden's citizenship test (medborgarskapsprovet i samhällskunskap). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by UHR (Universitets- och högskolerådet), Migrationsverket or Länsstyrelserna. Names such as UHR and Migrationsverket are used descriptively, only to indicate which test the app helps you prepare for. Official information about the test is published by UHR, and citizenship applications are handled by Migrationsverket.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial study purposes.
Content and Accuracy
The app contains 582 practice questions written from the 8 chapters of the official Om Sverige textbook (published by Länsstyrelserna on informationsverige.se) and mapped to the 13 areas of UHR's official study material Sverige i fokus. They are practice questions, not the actual exam questions. The official test consists of around 60 multiple-choice questions, is taken on paper and in Swedish only; the question translations in the app are a study aid. The official pass mark has not yet been set by UHR, so any pass threshold shown in the app is our own practice estimate, not an official figure. The app is an educational tool: it does not replace official sources and does not guarantee that you will pass the test or obtain Swedish citizenship.
User Conduct
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, copy or redistribute the app or its content. Commercial redistribution or publication of the practice material is not permitted.
In-App Purchases and Premium
The optional Premium upgrade is a single one-time purchase; there are no subscriptions. Purchases are processed via the store where you downloaded the app (Apple's App Store or Google Play) and are subject to that store's terms. Refunds are handled exclusively by the respective store according to its policy.
Limitation of Liability
The app is provided without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the content accurate and current, but we accept no liability for exam results, citizenship decisions or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are published in the app and on this website.
